Bird’s nest fern is an interesting rainforest plant which is naturally found growing on the surface of other trees. When grown in pots for indoor décor, they thrive & make for a strikingly unique houseplant. Its foliage which is a series of long, vertical, bright apple green fronds rising from a central rosette, gives an unusually cool tropical feel. The hasty & crinkly look of the structure resembles a bird’s nest and hence the name. Bird’s nest fern develops at a moderate speed and fronds will not grow much long in pots, but the beautiful foliage is reason enough to bring this plant into your living room.

Caring Tips:
• Water around the boundary of your pot rather than watering at the center as it may cause the roots to rot. • Too much heat can damage the leaves of this plant. So, strictly avoid direct sunlight. Keep this plant in full or partial shade. • As a simple rule, water thoroughly during summer and reduce watering during winter and rainy season. • Keep a track of dead, infected or damaged plant parts. Discard them whenever required. • Do not repot this plant immediately after receiving. Give 10-15 days to adjust to the new environment and then you may repot with fresh soil & some fertilizer.
