 This subtropical beauty, native to the arid grasslands of Argentina and southern Brazil, is an indoor plant from Cactus family which is now widely cultivated. This ornamental plant, perfect for desks & tabletops, is drought resistance and a good purifier of indoor air. Among other things, it is most admired for its spectacular white & pink colored, slightly fragrant flowers. The rugged structure of this plant has such a unique appeal that makes it an excellent choice for a wide range of decor styles - from country & rustic to modern & contemporary.

Growth Habits: Up to 5 feet high

Soil Requirement: Well drained, Sandy soil

Watering Schedule: Thrice a week

Light condition: 4 – 5 hours of indirect sunlight or partial shade

Ideal Temperature: Anywhere between 10 - 40 degree Celsius

Repotting instructions: While repotting, try not to disturb the roots. It is the slow growing plant, repot only when it goes beyond the pot size.

Suitable Locations: Indoor locations like Balcony, windowsill, work tables, rock garden, etc.

Caring Tips:

 • Always be careful about overwatering as it can start root rotting immediately. You may stop watering during winter season. • Try to keep this plant at indoor locations where it can catch good amount of daylight. Strictly avoid dark areas. • During spring, move the plant at some warmer location. • Remove & discard dead, infected or damaged plant parts whenever required. • Repotting should be done very carefully, preferably during summer season while the soil is completely dry. • Stay a little careful if you have dogs and/or cats at home as the leaves are mildly toxic for consumption.
