Ficus arnottiana is commonly known as the Indian rock fig, a variant of Fig tree that is native to India. It is also called the Rock pipal or wild pipal and is often mistaken for peepal tree. It is known for its rich Ayurvedic properties and is an active component in most of the Ayurvedic medicines. They thrive in good sunlight or partial sunlight and would be happy with some watering every alternate day.
