Common Name: Bengal Trumpet, Blue Skyflower
Botanical name: Thunbergia grandiflora
Imagine exotic little white flowers, sometimes with pale blue stripes on a thick lush green adorning your home, gate or fence. Native to Northern India, it is mostly found in Eastern Himalayan zone. Though evergreen, it blooms a little in the coldest months. The name ‘Clock vine’ comes from it’s nature to only twirl around in a clockwise manner. It has not been called ‘The most beautiful vine in the world for nothing. It truly is.
